Stacy has more than 25
years of experience in the representation of
physicians, healthcare providers, hospitals,
medical groups, skilled nursing facilities and
residential care facilities (RCFEs). She also
has a vast amount of experience in the
representation of public entities, including
healthcare districts, County hospitals and
school districts, healthcare providers and a
host of other types of entities and individuals
districts. The majority of her career is focused
on medical malpractice defense and insurance
defense of healthcare providers and a host of
other types of entities and individuals. She has
gained experience in civil trials and binding
arbitrations. Over the span of her career, Stacy
gained experience representing physicians and
nurses as well as other healthcare providers in
administrative matters before the Medical Board
of California, Nursing Board of California and
other governing agencies and administrative
bodies.
Stacy has frequently been an invited lecturer on
a myriad of topics in the healthcare arena,
litigation, Risk Management and bioethics. Stacy
has also been an invited lecturer to provide
information to the community on issues involving
advanced directives and end of life decision
planning. While in law school, Stacy earned the
American Jurisprudence award in Wills & Trusts
and the highest honors award in Sports
Law.
Stacy has experience in Appellate law drafting
writs and appellate briefs. She has also
presented for oral argument before the Appellate
Court on multiple occasions.
