A native of Bakersfield, California, Andrew Chan has been an associate at Thompson & Colegate since 2009 . Before joining T&C, Andrew clerked for a well-known civil litigation firm in Bakersfield and an insurance defense firm in Los Angeles. Andrew graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a degree in Business Economics and a minor in Accounting. He received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where he was a Dean's Scholarship recipient. While at Loyola, Andrew served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Fred Woods at the California Court of Appeal, Second District. Andrew also received First Honors in Trial Advocacy at Loyola and was invited to be a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society, available only to students ranked in the top 15% of the class. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys reading, sports, weightlifting, and following the Los Angeles Lakers. Andrew is fluent in Cantonese.
